This will drive out air pockets and creases, ensuring a strong binding. Repeat on the opposite side of your floor. 

You may now replace your outdated mouldings and thresholds. If you decide to change your moulding, ensure that your measurements and angles are accurate. If you attempt to use the old pieces as templates, the new ones will be somewhat bigger and will not fit. If you were unable to make your floor ideal and some sections aren't totally covered by the baseboard or new flooring (such as around entrances and their trim), you may fill these spaces with caulking. 

Before shifting furniture or appliances on top of some glues, it is necessary to allow the glue to cure for a while. A reasonable rule of thumb would be to wait a couple of hours before repositioning objects, but check the product's instructions and adhere to them.
